Multi-Utility Assistant Site Manager

Arc-Tech MU is recruiting an MU Assistant Site Manager, a full-time, permanent position covering our live contracts in Scotland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of utility networks for a portfolio of projects, This will include assisting in the management of customer relations, construction teams and contractors ensuring that networks are built safely, to the correct specification and to our customer’s satisfaction.

SALARY: Competitive Remuneration Package
HOURS: Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm.
LOCATION: 9 Cambuslang Road, Cambuslang Investment Park, Glasgow, G32 8NB
STATUS: Permanent

SKILLS:

  • Ideally, we are looking for someone with the following:
    (not essential as training will be available)
  • SHEA Gas/Power/Water
  • DOMS 1-12
  • Water Hygiene Card
  • Driving License – Essential
  • Experience in the Multi Utility Industry
  • Knowledge of the relevant Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice, and guidance notes relating to all or one of the following utilities: Gas, Electricity and Water Distribution Systems
  • Training and support will be provided

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the management and supervision of installation, testing and commissioning of gas, water, electricity mains and services in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Assist in ensuring AT MU Health and Safety Policy is being adhered to and encouraging safe working practices on site.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Manage any complaints or issues in a professional manner.
  • Material control.
  • Comply with current company procedures, legislation, and industry skills on all aspects of day-to-day work.
  • Assist in ensuring the correct work methods are performed correctly.
