Arc-Tech MU Ltd has commenced works at a new affordable housing development in Glasgow’s South Side.
Led by Main Contractor CCG (Scotland) Ltd, Carnwadric Road in Thornliebank comprises the regeneration of a former community centre site that will conceive up to 22 homes for social rent.
Arc-Tech MU is supporting the construction programme with a turnkey Gas, Water and Electrical multi-utilities package.
Arc-Tech MU Managing Director, Josh Martin, said: “The Carnwadric Road development is a welcome addition to Thornliebank with the regeneration of a derelict site bringing much-needed affordable homes with the MU team playing a vital role with our turnkey services solution. Through our expertise in design and project management, we will ensure a quality and efficient service in the delivery of the multi-utilities programme over a 40-week duration.”
Works are also set to commence on further 26 affordable homes at Damshot Crescent in Pollok later this month, extending MU’s live portfolio of contracts to over 270 homes across four local authority areas.
Josh added: “Our pipeline of contracts for the first half of this year is very healthy with a broad range of large-scale residential developments already underway and this trend is set to continue throughout the course of this year. We look forward to showcasing our expertise to clients across the breadth of the country.
