Located on Sikeside Street southeast of the town centre, a full turnkey package of Gas, Water and Electricity services will support the delivery of twenty-four affordable homes on behalf of Allanwater Homes.
With the first phase of two and three-bedroom homes successfully handed over to the Council, Allanwater Homes is on schedule to hand over the second phase, comprising two-bedroom apartments, on programme.
Formal construction began in May 2023 with Arc-Tech MU responsible for installing all water, gas and electrical services.
Arc-Tech MU is a member of the CCG (Scotland) Group and the contract is the first undertaken out with the CCG parent company umbrella since the company’s inception in 2020.
Arc-Tech MU General Manager, Ben Bowring, said:
“The completion of works at Sikeside Street is a significant milestone for everyone associated with Arc-Tech MU. We are a fledgling business but we have significant experience across a number of sectors, none more so than the residential sector with over 2250 mixed-tenure homes supported by our services since 2020.
“We now take great pride in being able to bring our services to the external market and on behalf of the MU team, I wish to extend my thanks to Allanwater Homes for bringing us on board at Sikeside Street.”
Commenting on the installation by Arc-Tech MU, Brian Robertson, Commercial Director of Allanwater Homes said:
“As an independent housebuilder with a strong track record in creating energy-efficient, modern housing developments across the Scottish Central Belt, we rely heavily on our suppliers to deliver for us on time and on budget, especially as regards the installation of vital utilities.”
“We would like to commend Arc-Tech MU on their efficient installation at this development in North Lanarkshire. We are delighted that the development is nearing completion, and wish the business all the best as it continues to build its presence in Scotland.”
