Dalgety Bay Luxury Suites in southeast Fife is a luxury care home that provides residential, nursing and dementia care to elderly people over 65. Designed by Holmes Miller, it is the first development completed since the launch of an innovative joint venture company between CCG and Morrison Community Care. The development transformed a brownfield site, once belonging to commercial premises located, on Harbour Way within the popular town centre of Dalgety Bay. Comprising up to three storeys as well as resident grounds, en-suite beds are provided for people over the age of 65. In support of additional needs, 24/7 residential, nursing, and dementia care services are also provided alongside a luxury range of amenities including a champagne bar, hair salon, cinema, dining rooms, and a visitor’s cafe. It also incorporates innovative infection control measures to mitigate the impact of any future pandemics.
The project is a finalist in the Health Care Development of the Year category.
Arc-Tech MU was responsible for delivering the full multi-utilities package for the project, including gas, water and electrical connections from the existing mains to the plant room.
Arc-Tech MU also undertook a range of civils works, such as excavating, backfilling and reinstating the tracks for the connections to the off-site mains. The project was formally handed over in summer 2023 after a one-year programme.
Arc-Tech MU congratulates every company involved in the delivery of this fantastic project, especially CCG and Morrison Community Care for their vision and leadership.
