Golf It! is an R&A-backed concept designed to make golf more inclusive and accessible to young people and communities.
Whilst the focus firmly remains on playing the game, the introduction of facilities is seen as an innovative way of introducing the sport to all members of the family, not just the enthusiasts.
Located just outside of Springburn, Lethamhill will introduce Golf It! this summer upon the reconfiguration of their course from an 18-hole to a 9-hole shorter-game format which will be complemented by a new, double-height driving range, simulators, retail, and a new restaurant managed by Glasgow Big Feed.
A new build childcare facility will also be provided alongside various other facilities.
Arc-Tech MU is supporting the delivery of the contract alongside the main contractor, CCG (Scotland), and architect, Holmes Miller, with a Water and Fire Mains package as well as Civils to enable the reinstatement of road infrastructure leading to the course from the road carriageway (Cumbernauld Road).
