Since our company’s inception in 2020, MU has fostered a sustained pipeline of contracts that support the new build construction of mixed-tenure homes. Now, Dalgety Bay Luxury Suites is the first residential care home that is specially-designed to meet the needs of the elderly.
Led by Morrison Community Care and CCG (Scotland), the development will transform a brownfield site, once belonging to commercial premises located, on Harbour Way within the popular town centre of Dalgety Bay. Comprising up to three storeys as well as resident grounds, a total of 68 private, ensuite beds will be provided for people over the age of 65. In support of additional needs, 24/7 residential, nursing, and dementia care services are also provided alongside a luxury range of amenities including a champagne bar, hair salon, cinema, dining rooms, and a visitor’s cafe.
Arc-Tech MU will support the main construction programme with a turnkey, Multi-Utility package including:
Gas
Water
Electrical
Arc-Tech will also be undertaking a range of Civils as part of this development by excavating backfill and reinstating ays for connections to the Gas, Water and Electricity mains which have been identified as being off-site. Excavation, backfill and reinstatement of approximately 390m of suitable Multi-Utility track are also required to bring the new mains along the nearside footpath of Harbour Way and the nearside of Western Access Road down towards the LV POC.
Works are set to be undertaken over a 1-year programme.
