North Gate, located in the southside of Glasgow, has won a coveted Saltire Society Housing Design Award after being announced as the winner of the ‘Multiple Public Dwelling’ gong earlier this month.
The project, which was completed in 2022, comprises 31 homes for social rent that were delivered by Main Contractor CCG Scotland on behalf of New Gorbals Housing Association. Designed by Page/Park architects, North Gate is the culmination of 30 years of regeneration on Crown Street and is now a landmark development south of the River Clyde.
Arc-Tech MU was responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of the multi-utility infrastructure for the project, including gas, water, and electrical services.
