The awards ceremony, set to take place on May 30th in Edinburgh, forms part of the body’s Annual Conference with this year’s key focus being People | Place | Planet and the opportunity to highlight the many ways member organisations are “moving the dial on sustainable behaviours when #deliveringmore homes for Scotland.”
Nominated in the Development of the Year (Medium) category, North Gate was one of MU’s first-ever contracts; it was formally handed over to the principal client, New Gorbals Housing Association in summer-2022 and was led by the HFS nominee, CCG (Scotland). A wonderful addition to the Gorbals, the 31-home development is a stunning example of affordable housing delivery and one that was the beneficiary of a turnkey, Gas, Water, and Electrical services package.
Cromdale Square has also been nominated in the same category. This project was again led by CCG (Scotland) with MU’s support (via a duel-fuel services package) on behalf of Linthouse Housing Association and it comprised the delivery of 49 affordable homes on the site of the former Drumoyne Primary School in Govan, south Glasgow.
We extend our congratulations to CCG on their nominations. CLICK HERE to find out more about HFS and their awards.
