The awards ceremony, set to take place on Thursday 29 June 2023 in Glasgow, is organised by the architectural publication Urban Realm and celebrates profound examples of architecture, art and advertising that inform how we interact with the world around us and Arc-Tech MU is delighted for the architectural practices who have been nominated.
Nominated in the ‘Architecture: Affordable Housing’ category, Page Park Architects have been named as finalists for the project known as North Gate, one of MU’s first-ever contracts.
Formally handed over to the principal client, New Gorbals Housing Association in summer-2022, the development was delivered by CCG (Scotland) and supported by MU with a multi-utilities service package. The 31-home development is located in the southside of Glasgow and is the combination of 30 years of regeneration on Crown Street.
The design team behind Cromdale Square, Grant Murray Architects, have been named as finalists in the ‘Architecture: Regeneration’ category. This project was again led by CCG (Scotland) with MU’s support on behalf of Linthouse Housing Association. The development comprised the delivery of 49 affordable homes on the site of the former Drumoyne Primary School in Govan, south Glasgow.
We extend our congratulations to the nominees and all of the project partners for this achievement. CLICK HERE to find out more about this year’s finalists.
