The 2024 awards ceremony will take place on May 17 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
Arc-Tech MU has provided key services to three CCG group built developments nominated for these awards: Calderwood Lodge, Dundashill Plot 3 and Meat Market.
At the heart of Newlands, the Calderwood Lodge project involved transforming a former Victorian sandstone villa and school building site into 20 luxury apartments. It has been shortlisted for ‘Development of the Year – Small (up to 25 units)’. Arc-Tech MU’s role was pivotal, providing a turnkey multi-utilities package that included the design, supply, and installation of Gas, Water, and Electrical Services.
Shortlisted for ‘Development of the Year – Medium (26-99 units)’, Dundashill Plot 3 is set to become Scotland’s largest Passivhaus residential development, featuring 90 homes for mid-market rent in north Glasgow. MU supported this innovative project with a dual-fuel Services package. This included water connections, extensive pipework, and electrical services that cater to the development’s low-carbon, energy-efficient vision.
The Meat Market project is a significant urban regeneration initiative, converting a historic site into 252 one and two-bedroom flats for affordable rent in the east end of Glasgow. The transformative project has been shortlisted for the ‘Development of the Year – Large (100+ units)’ category. Arc-Tech MU contributed a comprehensive Gas Services package, which included designing and installing gas mains and services, ensuring over 1000 meters of external riser pipework were expertly fitted to meet the development’s needs.
Arc-Tech MU’s contributions to these projects underscore the commitment to excellence and the ability to meet the complex demands of modern construction with precision and care.
